How to type Sinhala easily

Google's Sinhalese input tool makes easy to type Sinhala on our computer. With Google Sinhalese input tool we can type sinhala letters as we type those in SMS. It makes that much easy to type sinhala.
Eg: If we want type "අම්මා" in Sinhala we only need type "amma" in English letters.

Google Sinhalese input tool provide Sinhala words as suggestions while we are typing.

In this simple post I'm going to demonstrate how we can install Google's Sinhalese input tool.

1.   Click here to download Google Input tool installer. Select Sinhala and agree to Google's Terms.

2. Then double click on InputToolsSetup.exe to download Sinhala packages and to install them on your system. This may take a while.

3. After installing input tool change language to Sinhala (Select SI)

The tool will indicate the language change like this.

4.Then click on anywhere that you want type Sinhala and type.

After typing Sinhla change language from Sinhala to english again.
